These terms apply when you buy from Oh Mama at ohmama.co.uk. Please read them alongside our Delivery Information and Returns & Refunds policy. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
1. Who we are
Oh Mama is a trading name of Theloftwarehouses Ltd, company number 17459340. Our business correspondence and returns address is 2 Heathfield Rise, Rishworth, Sowerby Bridge, HX6 4RS, United Kingdom. Email homeofohmama@gmail.com for orders, cancellations or complaints.
2. Products and prices
Product descriptions, sizes, materials and care instructions are shown on the relevant product page. Screen settings can affect colour appearance. This does not affect your right to receive goods that match their description. Prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown before you place an order.
If we discover a pricing or description error affecting your order, we will contact you before accepting it. You can choose whether to proceed on the corrected basis or cancel for a full refund of any payment taken.
3. Placing an order and payment
Please check your order and delivery details before submitting it. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; our acceptance and the sales contract occur when we send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept an order, for example because an item is unavailable, we will tell you and refund any payment taken.
Payment must be authorised using a method available at checkout. PayPal is our intended payment provider and will be available once connected; its appearance at checkout will confirm availability. We do not dispatch orders until payment is confirmed.
4. Delivery
We use Royal Mail 24 for eligible UK orders. We aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days and estimate arrival within 1–2 working days after dispatch. These are estimates, not a guaranteed next-day service. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery options, eligible locations and charges are shown at checkout.
We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered into your physical possession, or that of a person you nominate, unless you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer. If a parcel is delayed or missing, contact us so we can help. Unless another delivery period is agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Your legal rights to cancel for late delivery remain unchanged.
5. Cancelling and returning an order
For most online purchases, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you receive your goods. If one order is delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item. Tell us clearly by email, contact form or post, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us. You may use the model cancellation form in our Returns policy, but it is optional.
You pay direct return postage for a change of mind. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods. You can inspect goods as you would in a shop; we may deduct for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of your statutory cancellation right.
For a cancellation of the whole order, we refund the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Extra charges for a premium service are not refundable. We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of sending them back, whichever is earlier, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
Limited legal exceptions can apply, including genuinely personalised goods and sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Any applicable exception will be clearly explained before purchase; maternity products are not automatically excluded from returns. See our Returns policy for full details and the return address.
6. Faulty goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You normally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery. After that, repair or replacement and, in appropriate circumstances, a price reduction or final right to reject may apply. If a fault appears within six months, it is generally presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can show otherwise or that presumption is incompatible with the goods or fault. Sale items have the same statutory rights. Contact us promptly with your order details and a description of the problem.
7. Using our products
Follow the instructions, care information and any safety warnings supplied with each product. Website content is general product information and does not replace personalised advice from your midwife or healthcare professional.
8. Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or your statutory rights relating to goods.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use information provided when browsing, contacting us or ordering.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please email us with your order number, what went wrong and the outcome you would like. We will investigate and respond as promptly as possible. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory protections available under the law of your place of residence. UK consumers can bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live.
11. Changes to these terms
The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order. Future changes will be published on this page.
